It was tough to find much about strut replacements, but I went ahead and changed mine as they needed it.

I went with KYB struts and I bought Duralast strut mounts. I had already replaced the rear shocks with KYB so I wanted to stay consistent.

It was a bit pricey, about $90 per side, plus labor but the difference is night and day. My drivers side was completely blown, the passengers side was also in bad shape, but I would feel every little road imperfection and you could feel the wheels jump when I went over a very bumpy area. Not anymore! It is solid, turns better and is overall just so much smoother.

FYI, this is my Rav in Mexico this past weekend...
