Any tips on how to get this off?........I had to admit defeat...changed rear shocks and L. rear sway bar link....Right side.....can't get any significant torque on the wrench as the exhaust is in the way (coil spring is also in the way as well,...can't get ratchet/socket over the 17mm nut to "Break it free").
Toyota didn't think much of the DIY'er when they thought up the rear suspension did they?

Sure did..
Was trying to do rear shocks and sway bar links all at once.
After the fact, I saw a you tube video on changing the rear shocks and the person lowered the spring retention nut, and took the bolt out of the sub frame (just in front of the shock.... allowed more wrench room to top shock bolt)..... would that help with the sway bar link access???

I found a write up that explains how to get the passenger side to come off easier:
