I had the Bridgestone LM 60's re-installed. No snow yet but much improved ride, sharper steering, and great in the rain. The original Bridgestone HL 400's came off and it became clear pretty fast how awful they are. Hard riding and very poor in the wet. Some tread left at 50,000km but they won't be going on in the spring.

I'm in the same boat (except mine aren't runflats). My OEM Bridgestones will be swapped out for my Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 SUV winter tires on Thursday.

Even though the awful Bridgestones have quite a bit of tread left on them, there's no way they're going back on next spring.

"Conventional" Bridgestones as bad as the RFTs?

I thought only the RFT was bad. If I had been able to compare the OE tire and learn how bad it really was I would have talked to some guys on this forum and put together an organized collective complaint. They're not still using those tires are they?
