My sister's RAV4 radio died all of a sudden. Checked fuses, all were good, and after some trouble shooting, figured the radio was dead. I was thinking of getting an aftermarket radio with CarPlay, but this is my sister's 2nd vehicle and doesn't get used as much, so I didn't want to spend too much on a replacement. Then I saw an FJ Cruiser somewhere with a Scion radio, I figured I could use one too in the RAV. I went looking at a Pick Your Part and found a Scion with the radio I wanted. The old radio still had a tape deck in it, I had installed a USASpec Bluetooth receiver. The new radio has built-in bluetooth, so now I have song info on the screen. Everything is plug n play. The Scion radio has input for a mic but I didn't pull that from the original car. I don't know if it has USB/Aux inputs, but it does have extra ports for other connections. Im happy with the radio, besides the Scion branding, looks OEM.

That looks great! I know the 01-03 RAVs don't have volume buttons on the steering wheel, but did the Scion? My '05 could use an upgrade.

(Then again, if I'm going to upgrade it, I'd like a rear camera display... Maybe I'll just go with a rear view mirror replacement with dash- and rear-view cameras, skip the radio. Don't mind me)
