Welcome to the forum. For our '11 RAV4 I got relatively inexpensive but good quality seat covers from Walmart. Back seat in ours is used mostly for carrying utility items, covers have lasted since '11 and show little sign of wear. Don't know how well it would stand up to having a large active dog but being inexpensive even if a dog wears it out it would be inexpensive to replace.
