I've basically driven every car I've ever had on whatever hardware it came with. But I really love my 2020 XSE, and I'm hoping to do some more camping, hiking, and eventually overlanding with it. So I've never bought new wheels for a car before, and I'm completely new to this thing. What do I need to know, and what brands/types/sizes(?) should I be looking at?

Most people go with 17x8" wheels with offsets between +30-40. Most common tire size is 245/65/17.

For looking at new wheels and tires, I generally use discount tire to view fits of different tire and wheel sizes. Pretty easy to use as you just have to enter your vehicle and at the point when you select tire size you can there is an option that allows the viewing of other sizes from stock. Another site I use is tire size calculator to compare sire sizes when you may be increasing/decreasing in size. It tells you the new dimensions and how your speedometer will read as well as what tire pressure to run.

Don’t forget to account for the cost of tires for the new rim. This might affect which rim/tire you get due to the cost of replacement tires.
