How low can you take a Gen 1 rav4? Having issues finding anyone whom has slammed a rav4. Is it because it is not possible to get super low with the 4wd. People slam foresters and crv's. Why not rav4s? Hypotheticaly speaking could someone cut stock Springs, or cut H&r Springs, or use Springs off another model Toyota to get a 3inch plus drop? I can't find any real lowering Springs or coilovers with drop like that anywhere.

Celica coilovers would fit with the correct camber tops on the front. There is a camaro shock that may fit the rear slammed. You would just need to find rear springs.

You're limited by the max driveshaft and ball joint angles. The lower you go the less upward travel is left, so the stiffer the suspension needs to be, until it becomes horrible to drive.
How low you can go, I would guess at 2" max. But you can then also fit lower profile tyres, so get even lower, maybe another inch.
