Smart key don't start the engine except you place it on the push start button.please help me on it. And I have changed the battery and even programmed another key to it and the same thing occur to that new key.please what is the problem

Do you have the fob in the same pocket as your cell phone? This can interfere with the signal.

The key is starting the engine but it is only when you put it on push start button. When it is in the pocket it doesn't start the engine.

The RFID system for starting the car is not related to the battery in the remote, it's a separate system from the one that is unlocking the doors.
It gets powered by the car RFID antenna.
The antenna around the key ring is probably broken.

The RFID system for starting the car is not related to the battery in the remote, it's a separate system from the one that is unlocking the doors.
It gets powered by the car RFID antenna.
The antenna around the key ring is probably broken.

I have the same issue my both smart key fob stopped working. It can only start the key when I tap the fob onto push start. Where I can find the issue and where is the RFID antenna?
