Has anyone else encountered this. I have a 4.2 with 7,000 miles and everything is fine. But, on two recent occasions there was a smell after stoping at the top after going up a decent grade. It could be a transmission smell. I will have to check it out closer next time. At first I thought it was someone elses vehicle parked next to mine. It could also be the traction control causing one brake to drag maybe. I will post again once I try again and determine it is not the brakes by spraying a little water on the disc...no sizzle will mean they aren't the issue. I really think it is a drive train issue becuase it is a unique smell and the drive train is unique! Just wanted to throw this out in case the problem is more common.
