Whats up everyone! Hopefully this is in the right section, didn't see a "build thread" section. Anyways I picked up a 2020 RAV4 LE AWD that I'll be using as a daily driver/ road trip warrior. Also have a 2012 Tundra, but it has a drinking problem lol. Here is Sonic the day I picked it up next to my Tundra (Shadow), pretty excited to start making it my own. If yall want to follow a bit more day to day stuff in the garage, check me out on Instagram @power.up.garage

Anybody with that kind of stereo setup in their garage has got to be a serious DIYer.
Yeah I defenitely spend a lot of time in there lol. I actually bought this house because of the big garage
My garage is my favorite room in the house complete with $5k in cabinets and a gray flake epoxy floor.

If it takes more than a day or two to complete I'm letting someone else do it.
I’m almost 65. Now I determine the size of job I’m willing to tackle based on how many aches and pains I’m willing to tolerate. Getting old is not for sissies.

The black texture looks really nice. Best part is you won’t have to fight the color change of the plastic as it ages.

Any plans to epoxy paint the brake calipers?

UPDATE!!
Had some yellow caliper paint from another project, so decided to buy some "TRD" Caliper Decals and paint my calipers! Have to take advantage of the warm Texas weather! One thing I hadn't noticed, and not a fan of, is the skinny rear brake rotor....

But besides that, pretty happy with how it came out!

Looks like you disassembled the fronts before painting but not the backs. I’ve done lots of brake jobs, but I‘m unfamiliar with automatic parking brakes. Is that why you left the rear calipers on when painting? I know there’s an extra step to get the parking brake to release for disassembly.

They still look good. You and I are the only ones who know the difference. Nice touch with the labels.

I’m planning on doing my calipers with white two part epoxy with hi-temp flat black on the back side of the pads. Where did you get your decals?

I got them on ebay!

Thanks. Maybe I’ll put on the Brembo decals 😁
