I know there are people who bought a Base or Limited, but long after the back profile of the Sport SAP model. It does look nice without that tire. For those who want to remove the tire, but don't want to spend the money on surgery to replace the whole door, has anybody invented a "blank" cover or something that fits the round hole perfectly but gives it a different look? I'd think the aftermarket alternative for something like that would be huge. Heck, you could even put a billboard sign there. Anything!

Seems like a lot better idea than replacing the back door, or welding + painting some metal to it, as has been suggested in other threads.

To each his own but I like the looks of the tire on the door and also the functionality. I don't want my vehicle to look like every other small jap crossover.

Sorry. I don't do it. Click on the link and email the sellers. I think shipping will be very expensive. Maybe easier to buy the door on disassembly? With versions of the Sport, without spare wheel?

One thing to look at other than the hideous look is that it completely covers where the license plate goes...would not be able to mount it without either moving the license plate and rewiring it or cutting part of that cover...

Exactly. The license plate of another form. Option is not appropriate.
