hello,

i got my Rav4 2013 6 months ago , when i try to play songs from a USB i can read the folders and songs on the screen but when i try to play any , it dosen't work !!
Did you create the USB on an Apple platform? I loaded my USB stick from my iMac and had difficulty playing songs in my Rav4. What happens (as many know) when files are loaded on a USB stick or drive using an Apple platform, a hidden trash folder is created. In my case, music files wouldn't play if there was something in the trash folder. As soon as I hooked it up to my iMac and emptied the trashcan, the USB stick worked properly when played in my Rav4.

Good luck.

Apple strikes once again.:eek::wall
Yes, but think about how much fun I have troubleshooting problems on my iMac.

Maybe you know a solution for my iTunes problem. How can I equalize volume for all songs? Many of them are really quiet from how they were ripped.
Hi there, there's a feature in iTunes called sound check. I've never used it but it works like this.

For the Mac version of iTunes

Click the iTunes menu tab on the main screen.
Choose the Preferences menu option on the pop-up screen that appears.
On the main preferences screen, click the Playback menu tab.
Click the check box next to the Sound Check option to enable it. Click OK to save settings.
If you want to see the volume adjustment Sound Check has applied for a particular song, right-click one of them in your iTunes music library list and choose the Get Info option. You will see the normalization amount (measured in dB) next to Volume in the summary section.

If you need more options, just google iTunes volume equalization and you should get what you need. :)
