Here in Europe the steel wheels are 16"x6.5J and the alloy wheels are 16"x7J

Tires : 215/70/16 for the steel wheels and 235/60/16 for alloy

You can still mount the P215/70R16 on the alloy Stock wheel though--no problem.

Make sure you get #5 for a spare too. With the rim width difference you wouldn't want to use the stock spare you have with the new alloy. Its a safety thing we could get into for hours. Trust me.

so the tire and rim combo will work even though the tire is for 6.5 inch and the rims are 7? that is only a minor difference.

Coletrain, If you have 215 / 70 / 16's then you can go as norrow as 5.5" or as wide as 7"

So you will be just fine.

I personally would go with a good quality aftermarket rim and not OEM (which are good quality) because it will make your car look unique.
Hell, i have aftermarket summers and now would like some tough looking winters rims to change up the style again :D
