Hi,

I have a 2005 2.4L FWD base model Rav4. I bought it at 146,000 miles, and have put 5000 miles on it since then. In the year that I've owned this car, I've noticed a weird vibration when stopped. It doesn't happen when I put the car in park, only when it's in drive and the brake is pressed. For example, when I stop at stop lights, after I've brought the car to a stop, the rumble starts to happen, and as soon as I give it gas the rumble immediately stops. As I said, this only happens when the car is in drive. Most times when I stop at red lights, I put the car in neutral to make the vibration stop while I wait to get going again. I have a feeling that this has something to do with the transmission, but I'm no expert. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance,

-Joe
