Hi,

Great forum, really helped make my decision to buy a 2005 RAV4 S AWD.

Now that it's cold and snowing, and the roads are rough here in Alaska due to snow and ice, my tire pressure warning light is going off regularly on my drive home. The first two or three times, I would stop, check my tire pressure, all 4 at the recommended PSI.

Now I think it's just crying wolf, and I'm starting to ignore it, till I stop and reset it. But, if it's really flat, I'm going to keep going till it noticeably affects my driving.

Has anyone else noticed this with their RAV? And/or had a dealer fix it? I'm thinking the uneven surface is throwing the wheel spin sensor off (which I thought I'd read is how works).

Thanks,
Earl

I had my warning light go on over the weekend. Sure enough there was a nail in the tire and the pressure was low. I had it fixed but the warning light still hasn't gone off. How do you reset it or do I have to take it to the dealer to have it done?
