Hi All,

Does anyone have experience running 235/70 R16 before? will it fit? Experience with rubbing?

I have a 2009 Limited 4WD.

Thanks!

I assume you are replacing the wheels as well since the stock ones are 17 inch...the tire size would fit with no rubbing I believe...just make sure your new wheels will fit...

I run 245/70/16 AT tyres no problem (more aggressive tyres now on compared to this pic):

Great for the beach and generally removes the Soccer mum look of the car

FYI wheels are from Series 1 Kluger/Highlander

Did you install spacers to make that size fit?

Since he hasn't been on the forum since that picture five years ago I doubt you'll get an answer

I run 235/70 R16's on my 2009 base. Limited would definitely be 17 inch tires. Just be aware of speedometer variations when going with a larger tire to avoid getting a ticket. Yes, that is an old post, so a new thread might get a better response to the most recent question.
