I know it's not available from Toyota this way, but I was wondering if the tonneau cover could be installed with the third row seat. Obviously, you'd have to add the mounting points for the cover and remove the cover when using the third row, but otherwise, would it work?

good question. The tanneau poles fit into the side plastic trim pieces behind the 2rd row of seats. I doubt that these indentations are there with the 3rd row..

The tonneau catch isn't visible in the above photo, but it is in this one...

What you see in the other photo is a rear seat quick-release lever.

That's great! I like having the cover to hide valuables, etc in the cargo area. Should be easy to remove and stick in the back (or the garage) when using the third row.

Follow up to an old post - the tonneau cover and cargo net poles DO fit and work just fine in third row Rav4s. eBay is a good source.

KInda off topic but what do you guys use the tonneau cover for? I've got one in mine and havn't found a usage to it, is it just to cover up the stuff in your trunk from flying?
