I just had new tires put on by NTB and one of the TPMS sensors have a bad valve so they ended up replacing it. Now my TPMS light is on and they can't reprogram the sensor into my obd, where can I take it to to get reprogram aside from the dealership?

They were able to read the code with a Tech400 scanner and was able to load it to the obd2 port, the scanner indicated that the transfer was successful but the light is still on, this time it's blinking for about 2 minutes than it just stays on. The guy wrote all the codes down for me but the spare didn't indicate a code, it just read oem part #. The air pressure on the spare is good and before I changed tires I never had an issue.

I have an appointment with the stealership on Wednesday, hopefully I can solve this issue before then so I don't end up spending $125.

I went back to the place and talked to the manager, he said that when I am done with Toyota bring the invoice to him and he will file a claim to reimburse me (NTB will reimburse me for paying Toyota to service me sensor).

The manager also recommend that they order a sensor from Toyota and put it on then they'll program it and see if it work. I'm currently having them swap out the universal sensor with a oem sensor, will update in about.

Okay so they put in the new oem sensor in and rescan, load up the codes and the TPMS light is off. Damn universal sensor! The megahertz on the universal sensor wasn't the same as the other OEM sensor so even when the codes are loaded onto the OBD2, it was still indicating that the universal sensor was bad.
