So im at 55k miles on my 2018 Rav4 LE AWD and went to exchange the transfer case and differential gear fluid. When I looked at the transfer case it looked wet as shown in picture below. I researched and found it could be the output shaft seal.

My cousin who is experienced in mechanics told me to check the fluid level and when i did it was full. In this case he told me it should he fine and to keep an eye on the level occasionally.

Has anyone else experienced this similar leak?

What I would suggest is clean the area well with some brake fluid. Then check the area every few days to see if you can see where the leak is coming from. It may be coming from above the engine and showing up where you see it in the picture you posted.
