Hi All,
This is my first post on this group but hoping to get some insight on this issue and would appreciate you could share your experience.
I've a 2016 Rav4 2.0 2WD Petrol. I bought the car used in 2019. For past few months, i noticed this "transmission noice" which i could even hear in neutral. Now that we cannot check if the issue is with transmission fluid, i took the car to a local mechanic who diagnosed this as a Transaxle issue said it would cost me north of $1500 (Aus). I've now booked in an appointment with Toyota to have their mechanics look at it but would be great if any of you could share if you have had a similar experience.
