DIY intake. 2" water hose, 2" hole saw, some skined knuckles. You have to drill the hole on an angle to accomidate the hose going down under the EVAP box. Make sure to route the hose clear of the transmission linkage or you won't be able to get into 1st and 2nd gear, as I discovered on my first try :) It should come out about 4" above the CV boot as shown. Yes it does make a difference in both sound and response. The stock intake is still there so there is no danger of sucking water in through the new one should it become submerged.



DIY rally hand brake. Keyring, cotter pin, drill. Tape the lockout button all the way in, drill a hole through both it and the handle. Drop pin in hole. Easily removed when you want it back to normal.
