I just picked up a used 2011 Rav4 limited. There are two small things I'm hoping to fix without taking it into a dealer/mechanic:

1. There seems to be a small click or "pfft" sound emanating from the dash or maybe the windshield when driving over road imperfections. I can't seem to locate the source of this sound; I've done some research and found that there were issues with the windshield cowl squeaking - this might be it? Does anyone have any thoughts or remedies?
2. The upper right interior panel in the tailgate is popped out. It looks like it's fairly easy to remove/replace this section so I'm hoping it will just pop back into place. Or do I need to take out the top panel first?

Edit: I should also mention that the vehicle came with Rain-X wiper blades installed, not the factory originals. Don't know if this could factor in.
