I removed the plastic engine cover during a routine inspection for mouse activity, previously mice had munched on few wires and gnawed on the cover insulation, now I can't get the damn thing to attach! The two front pegs attach fine but the single rear connector doesn't work. I banged on to no avail.

See the pics, am I missing a part for something broken?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes, you're missing the part that goes in the cover piece.
Look at the two that are still working, you'll see what's missing.

Well that was an easy fix....I must be getting old. You're right,,,,the rubber funnel shaped piece had stuck to the protruding pin on the engine! I got it out and pressed it back into the round slot on the cover.

Thank you SoNic67!

That happens to mine every time I take the cover off. My rear mount is cracked more than yours but is still holds after I push the rubber grommet back in.
