I sold my 2006 last summer. While cleaning out the garage, I came across 3 ignition coils. I had a bad coil on the hard to get to back side, so I replaced all three. I was going to replace the front ones as they fail, as that takes about a minute each. None of the front ones had failed as of when I sold it. As I could only buy them in a lot of 6, I have three left over. They are VOLTS brand. One has no brand marking on it. None have been used. The other three worked fine for me. These fit quite a few modern Toyotas. You will have to figure out if they fit your application. I know they fit a 2006 RAV4 V6.

Just thought I'd bring this to the top for you.
The coils are a great deal but I suspect most of the '06s have enough miles that any bad coils have been replaced already. All of mine have and I have two spares. Maybe eBay?
