Hi All -

First time poster. I recently purchased a 2017 Silver XLE FWD. First new vehicle purchase in 10 years so lots of new electronic do-dads to learn about. Also first ever auto transmission.

One thing I've noticed since day one is the passenger seat vibrating. it is very noticeable when I put my hand on the head rest. At first I though it might be the tires or an imbalance in the wheels but the seat vibration is there even when the vehicle is idling at a stop.

Is this normal for the RAV4? Any of you experience the same thing?

Cheers .... Ted

Hi and welcome aboard!

I have a '15 XLE with 20 K miles on the clock and I have never felt any vibrations such as you've described.

Try tightening the bolts on your seat, that might be a good place to start.

New car? Go see the dealer!

If it bugs you you should know the cause. I haven't noticed any similar issue with the wife's 2017 XL so it may be something is loose.
