I secured a Pacific Blue Metallic colour with dark charcoal fabric interior yesterday and was wondering if the VIN my dealer gave me is appropriate for the 2006 V6 Sport AWD.
In FAQ I see the following.
Digit 1 - Country (J-apan)
Digit 2 - Make (T-oyota)
Digit 3 - Vehicle Type (M ?)
Digit 4 - Others (B ? it is 4WD but not H or Y as per Note below)
Digit 5 - Line (K ?)
Digit 6 - Series (3 ?)
Digit 7 - Body (2 ?)
Digit 8 - Engine (V ? V6 I guess)
Digit 9 - Check Digit
Digit 10 - Model Year
Digit 11 - Plant (6 ?)
Digits 12-17 - Serial Number
Note: On the RAV4, if Digit 4 is G or X, you have a 2WD;
If Digit 4 H or Y, you have a 4WD.
Can anyone decode the question marks to validate?

Based on Wikipedia
Digit 3 means Truck (Okay)
Digit 4 means 4DR Sedan 2WD (Not 4WD as purchased)
Digit 5 means Camry (Wikipedia says RAV4 is a V)
Digit 7 means manual w/2 Airbags
If Wikipedia is correct then I have to check back with the dealer!
