I accomplished a lot yesterday. Started off by washing and detailing my Rav, put a coat of Meguiar's Tech Wax on my painted steel wheels and am getting ready to wax the whole car this afternoon. I recycled all of my empty beer cans from a long winter of drinking and got $32 which was used to fill up the gas tank. Then I proceeded to cut the grass for the first time this year which led to even more dreadful yard work once the wife got involved. Finally around 5 o'clock my son and I went to play nine holes of golf and I didn't loose any balls, I think that is a first. Shot a 39 and rewarded myself by starting another collection of empty cans! :lol:

I took my Rav in today for my first oil change and tire rotation. I arrived there at 9 and it was done at 9:30 to my surprise. While talking to the service manager he noticed that the tech who worked on my car did NOT change the oil...wow, no wonder it only took him a half an hour! He said there was a mixup while writing my ticket up because I requested a 5 tire rotation. I also had them remove the roof rack cross rails because I didn't want to mess with them myself. When all was said and done, I got a free oil change on my next visit because of their mishap, oh well no harm no foul I guess but I will certainly be double checking to make sure the oil is changed on future visits.

When I got home, I clayed and waxed my Rav for the first time also. I was surprised at how easy it is to use a clay bar. I used Meguiar's clay and their NXT Tech Wax 2.0 and I have to say my Rav looks like a million bucks!l

Received and installed my black wheelskin steering wheel cover today. It took about an hour and a half to put on but was well worth the time and effort.! I also put a coat of NXT wax on my steel rims...I am now anxiously awating the black nerf bars I ordered last week, should be here any day now!
