What have you done to your RAV4 today?

Do check the cabin air filter if you haven't. Ours were both foul at less than half the miles you have and I replaced them. A lot of it has to do with hot & dusty South TX but it's sure worth a look if you haven't done so.

Thanks for the tip! According to my meticulous records I changed both filters in July 2010 at 8218 miles and they weren't very dirty at all. Won't hurt to change them again.

Changed the engine air filter today. It had been "red flagged" by the dealership a couple of weeks ago, but didn't look very dirty to me. Removed a leaf from the plenum below the filter element. Used a Purolator A45650 from Advance Auto. Cost including tax was $15.90.

I gave it some highway miles, Orlando-Clearwater-Sarasota-Orlando, ahhh a breath of fresh air ;-) btw i saw 2 Sport SAP's, one a 4 cylinder facelift and one V6 with a red V6 badge so i assume it was a 2009.

I installed a red led rear Toyota badge, it looks awesome!

I got all my tuneup stuff together so next week I'll take it to the DYNO. Oil, Spark Plugs, Coolant. etc.

I thought about washing it, but decided that I will let mother nature do the job for me the next time it rains....

Just got the 25K service and coming up on the 2 year anniversary. Used the last coupon for free service so the next one is on me. Asked about pricing for 30K and was surprised it was pretty low and now am wondering if they did not include parts, supplies, etc. They told me the brakes have a lot of lining left and the tires are still good and everything else was fine (it should be with only 25K on it). They also told me they will match any tire price when I need them and I noticed they had displays of competitors' batteries with installed prices so it appears they are trying to be price competitive. Let's hope the battery lasts longer than what appears be the inherent termination date for OEM Furakawa.

Not today, but yesterday ... Installed the Weathertech Floor and Cargo Liners that got delivered yesterday morning. And .. even better yet ... got the front driver and passenger windows tinted with medium tint, and all of the rear side and back windows tinted with dark tint on top of the factory privacy glass. The backs look like limo tint now. Pictures are in my album for anyone wanting to see.

Did oil and filter change, also changed the coolant.

I cleaned my egr valve today, plus tightened my handbrake and fixed my centre 12v power outlet. Happy bob

Washed and shined it. It looks like I'll have to shine it some more. Better yet, Wax then polish.
