This is a 2006 or 2007 rav4 4 cylinder. I believe the owner ran it low or out of oil, but nobody is admitting anything, as usual. It goes away with increased rpms. The engine was idling at ~700 rpm in the video. I suspect worn bearings and the oil pressure drops at idle so you can hear it. The oil light is not on and the oil looks ok. Has anyone ever dealt with this sound before? It is hard to hear from outside the car, but inside it is clearly audible. At first I suspected the balance shafts, but the noise was still there after removal and I forgot to wiggle the rods while I had the pan off.

any guesses?
