LOL, thought I was the only one naming their cars. My Dad told me it was good luck to name your car and I've done it since my first car at 16.
My kids named the last 2 cars but I named my new Rav4 Limited. The kids love it!
Her name is Anna Nicole! Simply because it sucks the money outta my bank account every 2 weeks!

Kaze, as in Kamikaze. It mean wind in Japanese. The Jeep is named Otis, as in Otis Campbell the town drunk in Mayberry.

My new 2013 RAV is called Zippy IV.
Zippy I was a 2004 Second Gen RAV that my wife and I owned. I had a big clumsy Tahoe at the time and a new job required a lot of driving so my wife and I switched cars. That RAV zipped all over the place. I loved it so much that I took it over, hence the name Zippy. Then when I went to buy a new car, I decided to buy a 3rd Gen, V6 RAV and that had some kick! So, Zippy II was born. Zippy III was another 3rd Gen V6 which really zipped. Now I am now on my 4th Zippy.....which really doesn't ZIP like the others did. But she gets me where I need to go. Zippy BTW is female. LOL.

These Ravs are zippy. Good choice Jaceravone. I see you're from WV. One of the main reasons I got the Rav is so we can get to our cabin in the mountains near Martinsburg. I'm hoping she'll be good in the snow and also on the mountain roads... those are fun to zip along !! Still working on a name. I think she's a she. I understand more women buy Ravs than men. She's a tough cookie... hey, maybe Cookie is a good name ??? !!!

I never had a problem with my other/older RAVs. I live on a mountain peak/ledge.....just a darn high point. Our driveway has a very steep incline. I never had a problem with our older RAVs, but this new one has been giving me fits already. Im not too happy about that. Whenever I go up our driveway, I lock the gear into 4x4 AWD and have had no problem in the past. We have had snow as early as October this year, so I got to try it out and I actually got stuck at the bottom of our drive way. I wasn't happy. The only thing that is different from my older models are the tires. It just could be an issue with traction. Oh well.

Athene. As in Athena. We had to live with each other a few weeks to decide on a name.

The pickup was Scout (female), after a horse I used to own. Prior to that was a 84 Ford Escort GT named Alec (female), which stood for "A Loveable Eccentric Car".

Hello, New to this forum but not to RAV4. Just purchased a 2103 4.4 Limited in white AWD. My two kids and wife could not wait to name her. They came up with..."SASHIMI".

My 2014 RAV4 is Spruce Mica. I call it the "Green Machine". If you saw 'The Longest Yard' with Burt Reynolds you'll get the reference. If you thought 'The Longest Yard' was a Adam Sandler movie...ugh.

Seven year old granddaughter called the RAV4 humongous, the name has stuck. Camry is now Camie.
Used to refer to the cars by their color, had to change since they are now both red.
