Hello everyone, I'm new here. I bought a 1998 4D 4WD with 87,000 miles to replace my Suzuki Sidekick as my winter and bad weather car. My friends 97 finally died at 340,000 miles. Well, it was still running but it needed some attention and she needs a reliable car. Anyway, I'm rambling on here.
To the point, I'd like to replace my 215-70's with the 235-60 size. How do i find out if I have the 6 or 6.5 wheels so i can fit the larger tires?
Thanks

Did you put the 235's on 6" alloys? I found out that in the US there are two alloy wheels, 6" and 6.5". I have the 6" ones. Can I still put the 235's on?

6.5 is the smallest recommended rim for 235/60 tyres. the rim size is stamped/molded on the inside of the rim. or you can just measure it.

i'd say it's ok to put on 6" rims too coz i would have still put the 235's even if my rims were 6" only!!!
