Needing the info in order to qualify for a free parking sticker in downtown. But EPA site says it's unavailable for the Rav4 hybrid.

They have yet to recognize it exists. You can go here and use the contact form to request they add it. Both the Highlander and Rav4 hybrids are absent from the list, but the Lexus models ARE on the list. Go figure. I'm in the same boat as you.

Is it the EPA "greenhouse gas emissions" index that you are searching for?

2016 Rav4 Hybrid = 8

2016 Lexus NX300h = 8

Hard to imagine, but someone is actually awake at the EPA. I received this today (federal holiday no less)

Thank you for your inquiry. And you are correct. The 2016 RAV4 Hybrid is SmartWay certified. We have some data lag issues that we are currently trying to fix. Basically, most information an a specific vehicle gets posted on fueleconomy.gov and our Green Vehicle Guide soon after it is officially released to commerce (i.e., available at the dealership). Unfortunately, the smog rating and SmartWay data is sent from a different database, which often lags behind, resulting in the 'Currently not available. Check back" language on fueleconomy.gov. The good news is that I see the RAV4 missing data was sent to our programmers last week, so it should be showing up on both web sites in the next day or two. In the mean time, feel free to show your city permit office this email as verification. Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions. The Green Vehicle Guide Team

FWIW, the Highlander and Rav4 Hybrids are now listed as Green Vehicles. At least in my area.

Uhh, the fueleconomy.gov did get updated for the smog rate. But it says Rav4 hybrid's smog rate is 7 which is too bad because in my state it has to be 8 or better to be qualified for a clean air car, dang it!

Yeah, I wonder what's causing the difference between the states? Somehow Rav4 hybrid can cause less smog in Cali or Sin city than it would in Texas or Utah, haha? :)

Altitude is a factor. Anyhow, cities have different requirements.
Here it can have a 6 in either category but the combined total must be at least 14.
