Anyone ever heard of "Impostor Wheelskins"? They are chrome and form fit over your factory rim and are much different than hubcaps. The base model comes standard with hubcaps instead of alloy wheels and I was thinking of getting these because they aren't very expensive. Take a look:

What do you guys think? In the picture they look just like having chrome rims.

Come on guys....I need more opinions on what everyone thinks of these. I can't decide if I should fool with these or not and I know it's my vehicle and decision but I'd like to hear more comments.

Nevermind. I just found out that these will NOT work with the standard toyota wheels. They actually go on the alloy wheels to make them look like chrome wheels. LOL, I should have paid the extra money and got the alloy wheels but now I guess I'll just put some chrome rims on it or something because I'm not too crazy about having these hubcaps.

How about painting your wheels a matching body color and setting them off with the chrome trim rings? This will look nice with the chrome lug nuts too. But, I prefer a center chrome accent in addition with this look myself. Is there something you can do in the center?

You don't have to stay with the body color either. Something complimentary for the wheels will work too, I see you are Pacific Blue so any silverish finish will do. Too bad you don't have the V6 because I kind of like those standard steel 17"s.

Also, I think there is chrome paint in a can that you can apply to steel rims. Though, it won't look exactly like chrome I bet.

Whatever you do...do it right. That's a new vehicle you are working with. You don't want to look like some dumb kid like me slapping things from the JC Whitney catalog onto an old Ford Escort!

See what a body shop will charge to match the Nautical Blue.
That would look best in my opinion.
