I did the door speaker and amp upgrade and loved it, great write up by the member here and the Alpines sound good. Now I need some bass and they are to tin sounding and the bass pops even though I set the crossover high.

Here is what I was thinking for a simple all in one sub and tell me what you think since many of you have added these types of subs already:

1) First Choice due to the great price point = https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007AQ2W6W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1SX1R00E2EUMR

2) Second choice just because it is cheap and widely used and has small footprint: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000063TJY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A66MBWMVVRUO1

3) Third choice because it will thump real well or at least for my needs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NTOJNW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2TGMCZ4O2P52Z

4) Fourth choice as it may be better than the BassLink and is cheap: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004NMJEXK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2QS1MWENZZX2O

5) Fifth choice because it will thump very good like the third choice but is priced better: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M3L7ZZ2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ASGHU1PFY7LBZ

Space is tight as my wife likes to toss **** in the back loosely so I want to find the happy medium for thump - price- space.
Some of these above have auto sense turn on which great since there is no remote wire out the factory non JBL radio so that is a bonus also. I don't really want to hook the tun on lead to the gin or a toggle switch and want it to be auto.

Hey Whatsa, I was considering a powered sub for my wife's Rav and was thinking of an under seat mounted model. I don't know if this is something you considered but it might solve your wife throwing "stuff" on it! I leaning towards the Cerwin Vega model VPAS10, it's a 10" and very thin also $172 with Amazon Prime! I hope this helps give you another option

I have no experience with any of those subs, but I'm sure they'll sound just fine if you're just looking to add some bass.

I just run a good old fashion 10" rockford sub and alpine 400 watt rms mono amp in the gf's rav4. It's the slim subs that are meant for the back of a truck seat. Works great and doesn't take up much space. Best part is.. I got em from the pawn shop, $50 for the sub and $100 for the amp.

Hi Whatsa. I had an Infiniti Basslink in an 05 Frontier. Wasn't really impressed with it. It did add bass but was kinda muddy bass. And it was a little bulky and awkward. I mounted it between the rear seats, standing upright. Frontier was a king cab not double cab. I think standing it upright is the only right way to place it. Then it has to be screwed down or strapped down or it's going to tip over and roll around. Just my 2 cents worth. I haven't tried the other subs you listed. Maybe Infinity has improved them since then but I won't be getting another one. It wasn't horrible, just not very good.
