Model: 1998 Toyota Rav4 Automatic, 4.1 all wheel drive

I have accidently reversed the polarity during the battery replacement. I am so upset at myself. Jump started my car with the old Battery today. Went and bought a new battery. I put new battery in. Tried to Start it.....

and....

The car tried to turn over but did not..... No Lights on in the car.... Realized what I did wrong. Fixed the polarity tried to start it again.... Still no light / No Start....

So... I looked at the Fuses on the Positive battery terminal. I replaced the 100a Fuse...

Got all the lights back after the Fuse Change... The car Sounds like it wants to start but won't start... I even tried jumping it with new battery.... and still No Luck. I looked at all the Little Fuses under the dash... All Okay....

Can someone please HELP me the next thing that may be wrong???

I feel like such a Rookie for doing this. Super Rookie mistake.

Any help would be nice.... Added Pic of replaced fuse...

Please Help Rav4world!

"The car Sounds like it wants to start but won't start."
Does motor turn over? If not I wonder if battery is fully charged up?
If it is fully charged I would put a 2-3 inch slit in red batter wire to look for green crud which would restrict juice to the starter,if ok tape it up.
RAV4s have a weak ground and motors still start but it makes it much harder on all components.
Running extra grounds is easy and cheap. 4 good connectors,2 pieces of wire and one metal screw is all you need.
Run one to firewall, clean off all paint and do not go too deep then spray it with clear paint to protect. Find metal nut or bolt on motor that would serve as good ground.
You can buy high dollar kits that are purity but I just used stuff I had around and no you will not get 20 extra HP but mine starts better and a little more responsive. Plus any ele trouble you have you know your main ground is good.

Are you sure battery is FULLY charged?? It could show 12 volts with volt meter and still not be charged enough.
"The car sounds like it will start but will not turn all the way over."
Still not sure, does it turn over any? If not could be more fuses bad or even a burned wire,I sure do not know.
You could try going from Red battery strait to the positive terminal on the starter.
Good time to clean all connections from battery on too.
If you got a good battery and bad alternator it would still turn over.

Thanks for the help again HD72m... Sorry, the car will not turn over. It tries but will not. I have searched rav4world and the web. It seems when people Reversed Polarity and replaced the 100a fuse, there car would start. But, not my rav4. I know there are more fuses in the engine bay. Maybe there is another bad fuse??? I tested the Battery with a meter and it's good. I wish I knew what to try next. Oh Well!

Is the starter solenoid clicking in and out?, its a bit hard to diagnose without seeing the car, are all the accessories and lights working now?

if its just the starter i would be betting on a bad connection too.

check everything from the battery terminals to the starter motor connections and everything in-between on the main DC cables. my Ford was crippled by a layer of oxide that I disturbed when I disconnected the battery one day, took a while to find it, but after re-making all of the battery clamp connections she cranked better than ever.
