off bmw ... the fact that our rav4 controlls negative terminal to switch high and low beam makes it hard to connect hid system with bixenon ... do you have bi-xenon as well (not those plug and play ones) can you show me how you did it?
our rav4 electrical system is a bit odd.. it uses negative to control the hi/low beam, I had to consult a engeneer that used to work at megellen to figure out how to keep the light on and use the solinoid with the stock socket.... anyone wants the diagram drop me a line.
Well, look at what i've found:
Didn't realize that these cars came with what looks like OEM HID's but also headlight levelling. You can see the ballast at the bottom of the headlight.
Anybody have any experience finding a set of these from Japan? they're awfully expensive from what i've read...
I’m hoping to do some modifications. I’m hoping to get the best bang for my buck, so I’m trying to decide whether I should do a 3SGTE swap, supercharge the stock 2AZ or turbocharge the stock 2AZ. What does everyone think?

Can anyone provide any details on the removal of the fog light housing? It appears to fit into a moulded plastic section which is part of the bumper. There are plastic tabs on the housing which fit into the moulded plastic. There is an adjustment screw on the bottom of the fixture but I cannot...
