Hi, new to the forum. Was not able to find a clear answer while searching and was looking for some advise.

Recently bought 2015 limited AWD that run's 18's.

I have winters that are 235/60/16 in the garage and was wondering if it would be ok to use these.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I use 235/70/16 for winters. They were originally on my 05 escape. The calipers are close to the steel rims but not in any danger of ever hitting. If you have alloys with thicker material than the steelies it may be close. Mine are almost the exact same overall diameter to my factory 18s.

Congrats on the new ride!

I think it will measure about an inch shorter than my OEM 18's. But for the speedometer being off, is there any major concerns of running this size for the winter?

Not that I’m aware of. If someone knows otherwise hopefully they will post.

That's quite a bit smaller diameter then OEM. I myself would buy some 225/65R17 winter tires and wheels. That's what size I'm looking for.
