I plan to get a set of rims and get some winter tires soon (they're mandatory up here anyway). What are the options to replace the 235/55/19 in the smaller diameters (I'm thinking of 17")?
According to the various tires size calculators, 235/65/17 is pretty close, having the same width and a diameter of 29" instead of 29.2", but some said the 225/65/17 is better for winter by being a bit narrower. My concern is, having a diameter of only 28.5", will they throw out the speedo too much?
