Now we know what Pat measures money in. :ROFLMAO:

My wife was on a (the first) waiting list for a Gen II Prius, and settled for max trim but wrong color because it was available. She was very un-happy with the color, until I convinced her that she should consider throwing some $$ at the problem and make it the color your want. In the end she kept the color and Silver Prius (as it was known) drives on today with a friend of the family in it’s original silver color.

Bottom line; You can’t put a price tag on somebody else’s feelings, if they feel their car needs to be a different color.

To me only, it does look neither beautiful nor tasteful. What a waste! Why hide your original color that looks really great and handsome.
Toyota only offers one color: red.

The blue is almost black, and everything else is just a shade of gray. Toyota offers virtually no color choice. No orange, yellow, green, a real blue, purple, or anything in between.

I've considered wrapping mine in a matte "Army Green", preserving the glossy black accents and roof.

XSE Pearl White (aka Winter Blizzard) is lighter color and very nice.

I wish they would make the R4P in Cavalry blue.

It's still not a color, just plain white like every other car on the road.

If I don't wrap mine in army green, I may go for a bright copper metallic with green flake. Or maybe a psychedelic wrap.

Or their lunar gray! That's a modest AND fun color that's actually a color! It's my favorite that Toyota offers. A lunar gray with the XSE black accents would have been a fantastic offering. I wouldn't consider wrapping my RAV4 if it had that.

I like what people can do with wraps. I prefer the thousands of dollars in my bank account (aka invested for early retirement) instead. Not just this, but many car mods I find a waste of good money (what's wrong with the OEM ___ that you already paid for?) - but most vehicles are just transportation for us. * shrug *
Yea definitely not cheap but on the flip side if it saves the paint from a few chips/scratches it could help justify the cost a little too.

I don't have a new RAV4 yet and I am not really a fan of the black roof design used on a lot of cars now. If I buy a new RAV, I may get the red and do a silver roof, or a grey and do the same. When the RAV came out I saw a blue flame with a silver roof and it looked great.
