Sport - for the flairs and 18" wheels and the firmer ride. Check out my album. After 600 miles, it looks as clean as when I got it. Most people see the Rav from the outside, that is why I want them to say "WoW".

Base. It has so much more than our old '96 RAV that we were satisfied. Plus, me cheap 8)
and it's "only" the wife's car

Limited. Wife wanted 8-way drivers seat (specifically lumbar support) and Everglade Metallic (only on Base or Limited). I wanted dual climate controls.

my '06

Got an Limited 4x4.

Liked the extra features of the Limited over the other packages.
Wasn't looking for the taught suspension of the sport model on a truck... Got a sportbike for that kind of fun. :D

V6, Limited, Option package B
Limited for the great lumbar support in the 8 way power seat, the climate control, and the privacy glass. My 1997 Rav4 has no lumbar support and I vowed that I would never buy a car with uncomfortable seats again.
Option package B to get rid of the 3rd row seat that automatically comes with the Limited V6 in Canada and for the steering wheel audio controls.
In the 3 weeks since I placed my order, I have never once regretted my decision to go all the way.

...Sport

I bought the 4-cyl 4WD Sport for the 18 inch wheels and the firmer ride - the limited felt a little soft. I also like the flint mica color. I would have waited for the V6 Sport but my 2000 Honda Accord kept dying on me (and the dealership couldn't diagnose the problem after two times in their shop). That's when I decided to go with the RAV4. And I've been very satisfied with my decision.

I'm impressed with get-up from the 166 hp 4 cyl RAV4 since4 I was used to a 200 hp V6. I really didn't think I was going to be able to go with the 4-cyl.

As a 30-something male I would not even have considered the RAV4 until this redesign. Just curious how many more men will (or have) purchase(d) one now.

4 Cyl Sport 4WD. Bought the Sport because I like the dark charcoal interior more. But also because when I test drove the Limited, I couldn't get the power seat to go back as far as I'd like. It felt like my knees were sitting against the dashboard.

Re: ...Sport

I agree. The previous gen arv was never a consideration untill this year.. I liked em but they were just too small

Sport with option package B and a couple accessories.
Sure like them fender flares! Those in combination with the 18"
wheels & wider tires just make it for me.

The Red Sport would have been my 2nd choice after Black. What color is the interior?

Dark Charcoal, which I guess is the only one unavailable on
the base or limited.

Limited

We bought a limited. Liked the auto temperature control in particular, and we prefer a more car-like ride. Also liked the better interior appointments, although I still am not thrilled with the seat fabric. The Rav drives really nice. Am also male and would not have considered a rav before this year. We replaced a truck with it, as basically we just wanted a car that we could haul stuff in. Of all the small SUVs we drove, we though the Rav had the best ride, quietness, and stability. It was one of the few small SUVs that really feels stable on the road.
