Thinking about purchasing a Scangauge 2 Diagnostic Monitor. It plugs into the OnBoard Diagnostic connector which is installed in most vehicles after 1996. Anyone know exactly where this connector is on a 2006 RAV.

Scanguage2 works fine in my RAV4. Only Map and Fuelpressure are not reported. I am in the process of adjusting the parameters for more accuracy mainly for the MPG thingie.

Love it! Great to see the difference between going 80 MPH or 70 MPH. I set it up to the new tank of gas and I will see how accurate it is when filling up the RAV4 again.

Anyway, works fine with the new RAV4.

It connects to the OBDII port under the steering wheel on the left side. I took the plastic cover of and run the wire around the steering wheel. Now it is sitting on the in front of the dials, covering up the gear selection though. Not sure if I like it there but it was the easiest and since I am using it a big time, it is nice to have direct view.

I have the Scan gauge 2 installed on my RAV4 and it works great. Since installing it and monitoring the MPG, I've actually re-trained my right foot to get better gas mileage! :D

While Map and Fuelpressure don't work, I actually found more of the functions work on the RAV4, then on my husbands Ford diesel pickup.
