What offset did you go with? I'm looking at some Visions in 7.5" width and 38 offset.

I just picked up a set of rims, TSW Sebring's in Satin Black. I went with a little bit wider, 17x8.0 and a +40 offset with a little bigger, 245/65R17 all terrain tire.
With that is just about perfect flushes out the front with the body of the car and the back is very very close. Here is a photo of the wheels but I do not have a photo with them on with me. I'll post one once I've got it. I also have the rav4 without the body panel fender flares at all 4 corner so it may be a little different if you have those fender flares.

I like this setup. Any feedback after driving them for a bit? Any rubbing in the wheel wells on bumps or when turning?
Thank you. No rubbing. Took it out to a trail head and had some bumps and dips and no rubbing. It had crappy tires on it when we bought it so can't really give any perspective. They do ride nicer than the 17's with the extra sidewall though. They make a little noise but not too bad. My wife's RAV4 is a base so no fender flares, if you have flares a slightly wider tire might look better. These are right to the edge of the body on the base model.

Thanks for the feedback/ideas.

Love the beefy look.
I have a 2009 Sport V6 with 225/65R17 with stock Sport rims but they look so small. Would like something beefier.

With this size did you need calibrate the speedometer or anything to adjust for change in rotation # and actual speed vs speedometer reading while driving... if I'm saying that accurately? Also what kind of gas/mileage hit did you take? Noticeable?

Thanks.

Method MR502 16x7 +15 with 225/75R16 General ATX's. Stock suspension. A little heavier than stock but only by a few pounds.

I did not recalibrate the speedo. It is off a touch. At 65mph it's actually going 66.7mph.

She gets around 20-21mpg and only drives in the city. No highway driving. And she has a pretty heavy right foot from time to time lol.
