My key FOB battery in my 2009 RAV4 died and the car battery also died while being parked for about 4 months. I charged my car battery but can't get the FOB battery for a couple of weeks (in Mexico). I started my car by holding the FOB close to the Start button and verified I could move the car. However, the Anti Theft light continues to flash even after I've shut the car down. I'm afraid it will run mu car battery down. Any suggestions?

It's supposed to flash when the car's off to deter anyone from breaking in. It's a little 3v 3mm LED so it draws almost no power, you can unplug the switch though if you want it won't have any other affect. I would bet the parasitic draw from other sources would be more than that little LED though.
