So here's the full story.

I was trying to program a new TPMS sensor. I got a cheap xhorse cable from amazon and was using Techstream to program the dang thing. It didn't work. I kept throwing an error stating "is registration failed due to a communication error with the WCU while in Initialization mode" and "terminate initialization by connecting tc and cg of the dlc3 for 30 seconds"

So I tried to terminate those and it wasn't working. So I then, tried to terminate other pins nearby incase I got it wrong. Yes I know that was stupid of me. Now my car has the ABS, Brake and VSC light on. Also when I pull the codes in Techstream, it has a C1203 code. When I try to clear the code it doesn't clear and it just stays.

So, I was wondering if you guys know what I can do to fix this. I seen some guy on youtube did a "Zero Point calibration"?

Do you think this might help?

Could I have damaged my ECU by poking the wrong obd2 connector pins?

So this is the Mechanical section. I was under the impression that someone on the forum could help another person on the forum with mechanical advice, other than "go to a mechanic".

If there are any knowledgeable people willing to share their knowledge, I would greatly appreciate it.

You are correct, however, there may be no one on here that would be able to answer your question. Just because there is a specific subforum for our vehicle does not guarantee we'll get a helpful answer. I've mentioned it before, but Rav4 owners - for the most part - are not necessarily motorheads so complex questions may take a long time to get answered - if at all. This vehicle is not high on a motorhead's list and the Rav4 is marketed to a different group. So the best answers may be to continue searching the internet or take it to a mechanic.
