It is not meant for drive mode. It is designed to help with parking in tight spaces.

 

Yes but when pulling in to a tight spot, in drive it won’t show unless you change it, only reverse.

 

Ha, I just switched mine yesterday after a few days of searching.

By your left knee where the buttons are there is one to the left of your heated steering wheel that says ”view” hit that in park, brings up screen and options, hit the gear settings and switch the one “auto” to on I believe. Then when you drop below 7 mph it shows.

not sure I like it yet, parking yes, but traffic not so much.

 

I forgot to mention, you can also just keep hitting that button each time you want it instead of auto.
And it uses the front Cam.

Here is the 360. I enabled auto when my speed slows down. I wish that there are other triggers either than just the speed e.g. obstacles on the road, tight space or narrow road.

Is the 360 camera standard with the xse or do you have to add it as option?

 

In my region, the 360-degree camera is included in the Limited trim and optional on the XSE with the Technology Package.
