There is actually a recall that might fix this. You should get it checked out at the dealership.

That should give you an idea of where to start looking, at least.

I agree with using the 4-13 jumper as in that post, but first I'd simply insert the jumper, turn the key on w/o starting and tap the brake pedal 8 times to reset any codes. Then remove the jumper. Hopefully the light will go off and you'll be all set.
BTW, the light being on means that system has an error and is disabled.
(All the above assumes the CE light isn't on since you didn't say it was.)

I know this post is old, but did you give the 7.5 amp fuse that is labeled 4WD a look? I had the same symptoms and I found mine to be blown. It happened when I momentarily hooked up jumper cables backwards. Dope slap!

 

4WD light stays on

I have put jumper 4-13.
I still have the 4WD light on. And since yesterday I can feel kind of vibrations on rear from Time to Time when I am driving.

Do you have any ideas ?

 

The 4WD light + vibrations probably point to the rear differential coupler. There's a service bulletin for that.
