If you have an iPhone just use CarPlay. If not just stick a Garmin on the dash.

You could. But, you should've bought the Limited edition. Garmin is great. But, lacks the updates on the maps along w/ the traffic information. Like the previous post stated, use ApplePlay along w/ WAZE or Google Maps. You can use Scout GPS Link w/ a USB cable and it would display the map on your screen.

 

The OEM Nav head unit MSRP is $5700, retails for about $3800.

Is this gonna work on my vehicle which doesn’t have navigation?

 

You'd have to look up the additional parts required, that's just the non-JBL premium head unit which has nav, isn't the same as your Audio Plus, AFAIK you can't upgrade the existing head unit, you'd need to replace it. I can say that Carplay nav works far better than the OEM nav did on my '16 Ltd HV, no comparison to functionality and accuracy.

I have NAV on my limited.

I never use it, it is the worst GPS i had on my cars, and I had 4 previous cars with NAV. Graphics are really lousy, ergonomic is bad. I prefer to use WAZE or google map in my phone and wish for android auto to be retrofitted on mine.

I would not waste money on entune NAV.

 

Yes using carplay or android auto is the better way to go. You may have to precache your trip before hand if heading in to an area with no cell signal but it works alot better than the factory nav. I love using Siri to look up a business on my carplay and then using the route to get there
