Apple car play gone in action

RAV4 prime 2022, wired car play
During a normal drive and whilst using carplay with iphone, it just stopped as if i had unplugged the cable.
Carplay disapeared from the menu, wire connection works normal (i can use cable to connect to audio multimedia and normal charge)
No errors on the menu, reset done, tried new cable and new similar phone.
it is as if carplay was never there on the infotainment software.

Never had carplay back on the menu, for months now

any clues?

Try restarting the phone, then making sure it has CarPlay active. Look at Bluetooth settings for car connection. I've had that go out on me, but I've always been able to get it going again.

Car play not present on the menu now(was there before); phone reset, infotainment system reset, new phone tested, new cable tested as well. Usb port from the car works normal on everything else. Power charge and multimedia works fine through cable(not apple car play)

I believe that CarPlay only shows up when it detects the phone with CarPlay active and connected. So I think it is not seeing the phone for some reason.

Apple car play was present on the menu on day 1, with or without the phone or cable. It just vanished during a normal drive, as if cable sudenly unplugged and car play software erased from memory
