I’m in Ontario Canada and we are currently paying $1.50 per litre.

 

In NW Washington, gas is about $3.37 USD / gallon ($1.12 CAD / liter)

Where is it $3.37? In my area it's anywhere from $3.72 to $4.15 for regular cash. All around Pierce and Thurston county. Heck, this morning the 76 right by my house changed their sign to $3.99 for regular in cash. Are you talking like Everette or Marysville area? What part of NW Washington are you referring to?

In Santa Clara, CA, I paid $4.69/gallon on Tuesday (11/16/21)

 

If high gas prices keep even a few cars of the road that don't need to be there, I'm all for it.
$3.29 today in my town. Compared to last year, it's only $10 or $12 more per tank full. Who cares?
I go into the station store and see people buying WATER for $1.50 for 10 ounces. Over $9.00 per gallon, and bitching about gas at 1/3 the price.

 

Higher gas prices hurt the working poor the most. I as well would have no problem paying $10, $15 a gallon. But i grew up in a working poor family where every day was a struggle, and I won't forget it. Arrogant comments like this make me hope those "peons" that mow your lawn, clean your office, and cook your lunch, stock your grocery store just stay home and let you do it yourself. Maybe you would appreciate them more then.

Rising gas prices are fine for the trust babies and the grifters on social assistance.

 

Sorry but I don't have a clue. We haven't bought gas in months (R4P).

Edit: Just realized that sounds a bit smug - Costo price here in Issaquah is $3.59/gal today.
Ethanol free at the Grange is $4.19/gal.

We go 6 months on one tank of gasoline for each of our two Rav 4 Primes except when on vacations.

I knew this was coming with a new President and they is why we bought a second Prime and unloaded for a profit our Rav 4 Hybrid 2019

When the dust settled our second Prime SE after the tax credit cost us $300 more than the hybrid 2019 we sold back to the dealer last July.

Recently we changed out all our bulbs in our home for LED

I did some math and the savings in electricity will cover the bulbs in less than one year.

My goal buying LED lights throughout the home is to offset the $30 a month we pay to charge our two Primes.

 

Hello everyone just curious what everyone is paying for gas in their regions. I’m in Ontario Canada and we are currently paying $1.50 per litre.

This is quite high for my region and I don’t see it going back down anytime soon.

Here in Mexico regular is 1 USD per liter, figure about 3.70 USD per gallon, been at that price for more than a year now.

 

Last I checked, the lowest I found in Martinez CA was $4.89 for regular.

Correction, I just checked Gas Buddy and it's now $5.09 for regular.

 

I found a picture I took in May of this year and it was $3.39 a gallon for premium at the station by me. Which is now $4.09 a gallon for premium, $4.19 if you use a card.

 

3.31 in Northern New Jersey. In NYC 3.99 I've seen for 87 Regular Gas

that is what happens when the government prints money all the time . value of money drops , therefore you need more dollars to afford anything, catch 22

 

About US $9,10 per gallon in NL.... No printing money all the time by the government.

We paid $2.81 per gallon yesterday.

 

Ya'll are spoiled rotten over there in North America with those super low gas prices.

Normal every day price here in Scandinavia is $2.97 Canadian/ liter. That's US $8.38/ US gallon

for those who charge their cars, we pay about 22c US / Kw/hour though this varies a lot depending on area.

 

Would you trade cheap gas for an expensive healthcare for some system, burdensome student debt, no parental/maternity leave, poorly maintained roads and bridges, no guaranteed vacations, costly childcare, no guaranteed sick/disability pay, decreased overall happiness (according to many studies), etc.? If so, come on over. The US desperately needs workers.

 

I filled up with Gas at Costco today in Edmonton, at $121.9 liter, I did pass an independent posted at $119.9 liter. I would have stopped there to buy gas but he had a huge line up, I am sure at that price he's making a killing.

 

Gas prices tanked here as well on Friday. If this new Covid news has any truth to it gas prices will crash this coming week for sure.

The US news is making a big deal about a shortage of Canadian maple syrup. Heaven forbid I can't find maple syrup for the pancakes I might have a few times a year. I think I'll go out and buy a couple of gallons just in case.

 

Perhaps Canadians have devised a method to for using maple syrup as automotive fuel and are using it to sub for pricey gasoline.
Despite high prices in Canada and the U.S. they are still lower than what was noted by BigPhil555 in the U.K., (Here n the UK it equates to $8-60 per gallon (USD) - ouch) and when we lived there years ago the price also was much higher than in North America.

 

Here in Virginia, our gas is running about $3.14. One year ago we were paying $1.74.

Our off-road diesel/heating oil is now running $3.20. One year ago, we were paying $1.51, so our heating costs have more than doubled.

There is really no reason for fuel to be that high priced anywhere. Wonder what the cost will be when more and more countries go pure electric? Will they gouge those of us that will hold onto our ICE cars? I know the infrastructure here in the US in most areas is not ready for it.

Down under we are paying almost Aus$2 / litre which equates to US$5.50 / US gallon. Generally well accepted, with many agreeing it is best for the climate to be at this level or higher.

 

I had no idea the crack epidemic was so bad down there.

 

Sure glad I don't drive a pick up truck with the high gas prices, their gas mileage suck at the best of times.

 

Currently 131.9 here in Edmonton Canada. Rising fuel prices is the reason I traded my 2019 tundra for a 21'Rav . Cut my fuel costs in half !
