enTune system on my 2012 Rav4 Limited

Hey folks...this issue has probably been discussed in other threads but I do not see it. The enTune system has been almost completly dead for the past few years. ( I dont use my 2012 very much). No navigation, no bluetooth, no am/fm radio function...nuttin. Toyota corporate says they pulled the plug and no longer support any function for this radio. I am inquiring on this forum if anyoine has ever found a workaround at least for bluetooth so that I can stream off my iPhone. It seems ridiculous that Toyota would just kill all function for a very expensive entertainment/nav system. I suppose the followup question would be what head unit is the popuklar replacement unit for the original Limited head unit. Thanks.

I wouldn't call that first generation of basic Entune radio "expensive," it was more of a beta-type system with new software and hardware support; 2012 was the first-and-only year for the 4.3 to have USB. You can try your luck and get a used, OEM replacement from eBay for $40 or so without having to rewire.

Toyota did away with all Entune functions two years ago: https://support.toyota.com/s/article/Toyota-App-Suite-Retirement?language=en_US

Entune no longer exists. If you still have Bluetooth, you should be able to stream from your smart phone.
